The sculpture Immortality expresses in a abstract way a movement. A movement that repeats itself, progresses itself by an intrinsic motivation. The sculpture was created during lockdown in the corona crisis. It arose from the idea that your body can be a vessel for spreading a dangerous virus. That you are part of a bigger system that can conflict with your moral beliefs.

Bokma wanted to identify with this force of nature. Identify with the will to live regardless of the consequences. Immortality is made out of plywood, resin, glass fibre and finished with veneer and natural wood oil.
